Welcome to Somerville Adventure Playground - On Line

Somerville is a grass roots, well-established, community based adventure playground. We offer an essential safe play space with support and activities for school aged children, which they are otherwise denied by their environment.

The playground is open all year round with the attendance being higher during the summer months, than in the winter. The playground offers a wide range of activities for children and young people who come to the playground with the emphasis being put on the children and young people’s right to choose what activities to get engaged in. The object being to give them a sense of responsibility for their play space and ultimately a sense of pride in what they helped to achieve.

GROUP VISITS

All groups wanting to visit the playground, must complete the 'group visit sheet' and email to office@somervilleadventure.org.uk before the visit, due to the high volume of users each day.
